Hey Y'all,
I'm Adarel, or atleast that shall be my pen name for this new blog that I've created. I consider myself an artist, but also a work in progress (aren't we all?). I mainly draw and paint, but I'm not afraid to experiment with new materials whether it be wire sculpture, clay, or even photography.
I'm seventeen, but have many days where I feel anything but. When amoung my peers, I'm usually the odd ball artist who makes good grades and will occasionally engage in conversation but would rather skip the teenage drama and chill with folks much older than me. Honestly, if I were in a room with a thirty year old and a thirteen year old, I'd approach the thirty year old.
Also, I am learning to become a Christian apologist. For those of you that don't know what that is, an apologist is basically a person who uses means of (but are not limited to) logic, reason, and historical evidence to support and defend their faith. I'm not the stereotypical Christian who shoves and hollers and gives off the "I'm right, you're wrong" attitude. In fact, my goal is to swim against the tide and let people know that I will give them the same love, respect, and grace that Jesus Christ has given me. I may disagree with you, but I couldn't and wouldn't hate another human being. "Love the sinner, hate the sin".
Well I suppose I should get right down to it. Why am I making this blog? I've made this blog to not only share my own stories and experiences, but to share others' stories in hopes of moving people in ways they've only longed to be moved.
